Steezy is going Up!

This year, I told myself, I want to go bigger. So recently I took a chance and submitted a Demo to the Yellow Brick Road Tour for a chance to play an opening set for a Major Artist at the Dancefestopia Music Festival in Kansas City. Well, it was accepted! I have been chosen to spin with a handful of talented DJs at The Rockwell on March 7th for the Baltimore Leg of the tour.  I am nervous, anxious, excited, and several emotions at once. While this is a natural progression for my career, I still feel like the brand-new DJ that started behind the decks at Ropewalk Tavern a few years ago. Sometimes feel like I am not ready for such an endeavor at this level.  I know it sounds silly, but it’s true.

But Challenging myself has always been a way of life for me. I only hope this is the first step toward something bigger and better for me. So everyone come out and support. Bring a friend, tell your friend to bring a friend. My set time is 12:15-12:45am.

**Update**

While I did not make it to the  next round of the Yellow Brick Road Tour for a chance to play an opening set for a Major Artist at the Dancefestopia Music Festival in Kansas City, it was a great experience. I met some really great DJs, networked with promotors and made meaningful connections. This only a small setback in my goal this year, so be prepared to see me on a mainstage in the near future.  Thanks for following along.
